It’s Tuesday y’all!
So, yes in most of the US it’s far too cold for a picnic just yet, but here in Southeast Texas it’s a bit different.
Today’s post is for the couple who enjoy the great outdoors, and since Valentines falls on a Saturday this year, a picnic is the perfect idea for an afternoon focusing on what matters most in the pretty sunshine!

Pack some mini sandwiches (of course I used a heart shaped cookie cutter!) fruit, and salads for the perfect light lunch.

Take along a book to read together, we really enjoyed reading Love Does, by Bob Goff together. His book is several short stories that happened through his life, and most are only 5-7 pages long so they are an easy read for an afternoon together. His stories are life changing and truly make you want to be a better person!
