Howdy yall!

I was so excited when asked to design a Christmas set for Brooke’s Photography for her family sessions! Her only request for the set was “Country” so check out what we came up with yall!

I found these fabulous birdhouses at Wal-Mart and I contemplated whether or not to paint them, but quickly decided to leave them natural and Im so happy I did!!

The burlap ornaments are simply different sizes of stirofoam balls wrapped with burlap and tied with ribbon!

For the other ornaments, I took a trip to Goodwill and bought a few coordinating men’s flannel shirts, ripped them into strips and glued them onto to stirofoam balls as well!

For the packaging, the boxes are wrapped in brown kraft paper and the same flannel shirts and burlap are used as the “ribbon” and then some red berries embellished the packages for a pop of color!

Just a little flocking spray, wheat, twine, and pinecones finish of our “country” tree

I love how the seating area turned out! My favorite part are the signs! Can you guess what I made it out of??

Birdseed!! I took a small canvas, wrote out my words with elmer’s glue, and then poured a few hand-fulls of birdseed on and let it sit for a couple of hours!

A real “log” bench absolutely tied the whole look together!

And of course I had to add some antlers!
