Happy Monday yall!

I will never forget my very first www.southeasttexasweddings.com wedding preview fall of 2009, there was a girl right by my “booth” who was a photographer (with a baby bump) and was exhibiting her boudoir and wedding photography, that girl was Sarah e. Evans.

I could NOT stop staring at her boudoir photography…ha! not in a creepy way, but I could not believe how sophisticated and elegant they were, definitely not your average umm how can I say “gross” boudoir.

Needless to say she’s wicked talented so I “liked” her business on facebook that same night and she soon posted a “boudoir marathon” that she would be hosting at the MCM Elegante! Well, I immediately signed up thinking it would be a fun gift for my husband (p.s. I 100% advise EVERY woman to get some done, because every woman is beautiful in her own way and Sarah (or another photographer, but I am kinda biased) will make you see just that!)

Anyway, while I was getting my make-up done (which was included in Sarah’s boudoir price, how perfect!) somehow Sarah and I began talking about Southern Weddings magazine, I even think she had it with her! Long story short she offered to take pictures if I wanted to ever do some shoots “like they do in their magazine”. Of course I jumped at the idea and now countless shoots and publications later, I count Sarah as one of my closest friends, and I cant wait to see what both of us will accomplish next!

For now, check out our promo video that REF Video Productions did for us!

I will never forget at our “simply southern” shoot, Sarah told my mom that she could see my potential and knew I was going to go places, I couldn’t believe someone I barely knew thought something like that about ME. It’s one thing for my mom or family to say something like that, but someone my own age who had not seen what I could really do (because I hadnt had a chance to do it yet) thought that I would do great things. amazing…

Here are some of my favorites of us being goofy at our last shoot!
