Happy Monday y’all!
Today marks a very special anniversary. 7 years ago husband and I said “I Do” at the Paris Las Vegas. Today has been 7 years of a beautiful life together, one that I pray God has planned to last for 777 more anniversaries. One of partnership, love, teamwork, intimacy, problem solving, and perseverance which is a small amount of the foundational building blocks on which our marriage is built.
That being said what better day is there to introduce Marriage Monday to the blog than on our anniversary. The above building blocks will be what the first several week’s posts will be about, and to kick it off we’re sharing our thoughts on Partnership.
To me partnership means two people working together for the same goal. In marriage the goal is happiness, contentment, and joy. It’s holding hands and running at life together, whole heartedly. It’s sharing interests together or learning to share them because it makes one of them happy. Kason shares TMD and all kinds of girly flowers with me; I share guns, wresting, and zombies with him because both of our goals are happiness, contentment and joy.
Partnership is a beautiful thing. Knowing there’s always someone there to help you, to grow with you, and to learn with you is such a powerful comfort. No matter where you are in life, your partner is always right there too. Luckily for me Kason is not only my partner in life, but he’s also my partner is business. TMD is as much Kason as it is me, and that is just the icing on the cake.
“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work; if one falls down his friend can help him up.” Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
