Happy Friday (almost Saturday) yall!
Ill never forget the September 11, 2001. I remember where I was and what I was doing. In my short (at the time 14 years of life) I had never seen such a horrific event happen on American soil.
Eleven years later, September 11 would consist of a new memory. That memory will be a celebration of life. The Hope Women’s Resource clinic is a crisis pregnancy center for young women who in some cases have no where else to go.
September 11, 2012 was the date that was set for this year’s annual gala, so naturally the theme would be patriotic.
The Hope Center arranged for 2 guest speakers. One being the Hollywood actress, Rachel Hendrix, from October Baby, a movie about a young women who finds out she was adopted because she was the survivor of an attempted abortion. Rachel’s personal testimony was amazing to hear.
The second guest speaker was Lt. Colonel Steve Russell, the commander of the battalion who played a major role in the capture of Saddam Hussein.
It was an awe-inspiring moment to hear both of these speakers give their personal testimonies!
Thank you Tina, Mary, and the Hope Clinic for letting TMD once again be part of the Annual Gala! It is such a honor to be able to serve the clinic and our Lord in such a way!
Until next time!
xoxo, Tamara
