We're a wedding floral team in Texas bringing together intentional design and a heart for service to create florals that reflect the beauty of marriage.
I’m Tamara—a believer, wife, mama, floral designer, and lifestyle blogger. Together with my sweet husband and our daughter, we run a joyful floral studio here in Texas where we serve couples on one of the most beautiful days of their lives—the first day of their marriage.
Kason and I are high school sweethearts and have been joyfully married for over 18 years. Our daughter, Kerrington Snow, joined our family in 2015, and she brings so much light and laughter into our lives—and into this business! Tamara Menges Designs has always been a family-run studio, and we love working with couples who value their wedding day not just as a celebration, but as the beginning of a Christ-centered, lifelong marriage.
For years Kason and I took on weddings just the two of us! I can't believe some of the events we pulled off just the two of us in the early years. But with growth came a need for extra hearts and hands to serve our couples.
Kason has been cheering me on and encouraging me since before day one! We are high school sweethearts and have been together for well over half our lives.
During his senior year in high school (and my freshmen year) when 9/11 happened, Kason made the decision to enlist in the US Marine Corp and became a veteran in 2007 after serving our country in Iraq. After also working for a local restaurant company for over 23 years and successfully running their College Station store for several years as the General Manager, he decided to follow a dream he had in his heart and opened a LEGO store in Aggieland called Bricks and Minifigs!
Kerrington has been part of the team since the womb, but in the last couple years has started helping with flowers. She is now our sole bud vase designer and in recent months even made negotiations for a pay raise!
She can also be seen at weddings helping with centerpiece placement and candle set up. She also a great encourager and helps to ensure setups are quick and efficient. She is currently a huge fan of the Warriors cat book series and prefers when mom remembers snacks at wedding setups.
Bailey joined us in December of 2021 and has been such a blessing to have on our team. She has stepped up in countless ways and has even begun taking on her own weddings. She puts her whole heart into serving our couples and is a joy to have on our team and as part of our family!
When she is not designing floral with us, she is spreading the name of Jesus and sharing His love in various countries through mission trips. She also makes crazy good sour dough bread!
My journey first started over 17 years ago when I’d make little arrangements from grocery store flowers and bring them to the office. One day, someone looked at one of those bouquets and said, “You should start a business.”
After a whole lot of prayer, I did just that. I still remember Kason sitting beside me while I applied for my tax ID—my heart racing, hands shaking.
Now, all these years later, I’ve had the joy of serving countless couples and building a small but mighty team that I trust with all my heart.
