Happy Saturday Yall!
Those of yall that know me know when I get excited, I get EXCITED. Whether its about an awesome bride, a fabulous design concept, and especially when glitter is appropriate 🙂
So it was so fun to get the initial phone call from Lisa when she requested a consultation! I was running a deal on Ido Daily Deal for a bridal portrait bouquet, she was SO excited about the image that I used (of course she was though, the image was Archetype Studio, and they could make trash look good!) It was the image of the bouquet that we provided for their English bride, check out that post here.
Immediately when I first met Lisa I knew she had an amazing personality. She is as beautiful on the inside as the outside. {Pretty is as pretty does, as mom always said! }
Her and Paul’s wedding was held at the amazing Houston Oaks Country Club in Hockley, Texas. Wow, is all I can say about the venue and the staff, never have I been so accommodated! {Shout out to the entire staff, and especially Robert who was still there at midnight with a golf cart to help me load everything and take to my car, and it was his first day on the job!}
 They utilized “The Lodge” for their ceremony and reception, which resembles a real home. With bedrooms, a library, and open concept floor plan with the living room and kitchen. The setting could not have been more perfect for L + P’s intimate ceremony and reception with their 80 guests! Lisa requested petite accent floral to place around the different furniture to enhance the “homey” atmosphere.
Lisa was so grateful towards TMD, it is overwhelming to be that appreciated and to hear the sweet words she shared with me. It is absolutely reassuring that I am dong what God has planned for me all along. Thats a really great feeling.
Now on to the images!
Lisa wanted a vintage collected feel, and loved our Chateau Cocomar styled shoot, so we used our design from that shoot as inspiration. Lisa, was drawn to a small amount of black for a modern and unexpected touch.
There was a gorgeous fireplace as a centerpiece to the whole room, so of course we had to embellish!
For the ceremony, Lisa wanted to get married outside overlooking the lake. We did not want to obstruct the few of the property, so for the decor we kept it simple with different sized glass orbs, some with fresh floral, and I used fishing line so they appeared to be floating.
Ahh, how gorgeous is she?! And how about her Lazarro gown?!
Thank you, thank you, thank you Lisa and Paul for allowing me to be part of yall’s special day! Yall are special couple!
Until next time yall!
xoxo, Tamara
