Wow!

I cant believe its been a month since my last blog post! YIKES! May was just pure crazy, but Im back! My goal is to have a new blog post everyday this week! I have plenty to show yall!

First up, a banquet design.

I will never forget my time in high school, most of memories revolve around drill team (and my super cute “older” boyfriend who I now call hubby, but he doesn’t pertain to this post!) I loved drill team, mainly because I like being a part of team, and by my junior and senior year I held leadership positions, which I also enjoy.

You can imagine how thrilled I was when the director, Mrs. Reagh, inquired about having me decorate for their Senior Banquet. She gave me creative freedom, so I enlisted a couple of my dear vendor friends before I made the 4 hour trip back home for the event.

I went with two different colors and textures of linens from Occasions in Nederland.

For the centerpieces I covered different glass vessels with sheet moss to nod toward the Midsummer Nights Dream, I stuck with the same purples and greens for the floral, and added butterflies to the table as well for a “whimsical” touch.

Dressy Designs made the fabulous table numbers, menu cards and senior place cards!!

I wanted to create a head table for the seniors! What teenage (or any-aged) girl doesn’t love to be the center of attention some time in her life?!

A quick shot of Mrs. Reagh and I before the girls and their parents arrived! It feels like just yesterday I was her co-captain!

Yea Pacesetters!

See y’all tomorrow!

xoxo, Tamara
