Happy Sunday!

I will never forget when I finally got over my fears of starting a business, and decided to jump feet first into the wedding industry.

I had been wondering how I could get my name out there after I had made this decision, and one Sunday morning I was parking my car in our church parking lot, I happened to look up and there was a billboard for the southeasttexasweddings.com Wedding Preview! I know without a doubt that was the Lord giving me the guidance I needed.

Of course the Preview was that same day so I obviously could not attend as a vendor, but you better believe I emailed once I got home asking when the next one would be!

About six months and hundreds of questions later, the day finally arrived for my first show! I was so eager and excited about meeting other vendors, but most importantly the owner, a girl named Ashley Behn.

Its so crazy when I think where I started just a little over 3 years ago, and where God has brought me to. In order to keep from getting too wordy I will just say I seriously cant wait to see where He continues to lead me.

Ashley has been one of the most influential people in my business, and has truly become a great friend and as close as a sister can possibly be to me!  Such an amazing Christian woman, and I hope to one day be half the mom she is!

This year marked my fifth (Spring Preview) and my sixth (Fall Preview) shows with southeasttexasweddings.com, so check out our space below from the Fall Preview!

The night before was Mr. and Mrs. Batman’s wedding, so we utilized the cake backdrop we designed for them, and added some more floral to set the scene for our space.

We also used linens from our favorite linen store Occasions in Nederland, we do love working with them!

What I love about the linens we picked out from Occasions is the difference in textures. Their ribbon taffeta table linen, spoke to their rosette chair caps, which spoke to the ivory lace we used in the backdrop. Then we added just a touch of soft pink with the chair sashes that we secured underneath the chair caps!

All neutral in color so they didn’t compete with one another, but complimented!

What should we plan for the next Spring Preview?! We would love to hear!

Until next time!
xoxo, Tamara
