So after a lot of thought, prayer, and a much needed discussion with a dear friend and mentor, we are thrilled to announce we are expanding our team!
We are looking for an energetic, full of life, passionate and creative individual who is interested in learning the in’s and out’s of the wedding industry in terms of floral and design and working with clients and vendors! Yippee, right?!!
Here’s the details, y’all:
In order to be accepted to this position (aka: the coolest new team member to TMD!) we are looking for a 6 month (unpaid) apprenticeship to join our team effective immediately (after interviewing!) as we have fully entered wedding season!
We would be happy to work with any students who are interested in this position to attain school credit as well!
After the 6 months come to an end, the position could (but is not guaranteed) to blossom (pun intended!) into a paid position with the opportunity to work with clients of their own.
What all do I have to do in that 6 months, you ask? Here’s what you’ll learn with in the invaluable experience:
- How to prep fresh product
- How to assemble various types of bouquets and arrangements for weddings
- How to work with other vendors
- How TMD’s culture and brand is woven through all decisions made
- How to prepare a quote
- How to prepare an order
- How to create comprehensive design for clients
- How to design and execute styled shoots
- And even design and execute your own shoot that we will oversee!
How to apply/requirements:
Reside in the Southeast Texas to Houston area and have the ability to travel (especially on the weekends!)
Have reliable transportation (even though position is unpaid, mileage will be reimbursed if traveling long distances)

2-3 sentences of why you would LOVE this position and why you want to gain experience in this field!
2-3 paragraphs about yourself, we wanna hear about YOU, tell us anything you think we should know!
